The Way of Love in Troubling Times

The Apostle Paul, in his hymn to love, wrote: “12For now we see in a mirror, dimly,[b] but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13 And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.”   (I Cor. 13:12-13 NRSV)

In this new online series, Kanuga presents provocative dialogue to reveal the kingdom of God at hand. By seeking a more mindful and compassionate world together, we honor the dignity of every human being and promote justice and peace. Our honest, vulnerable exchange trusts that God will reveal a sacred path forward, not only for ourselves, but for the world God so loves.

The series, held via Zoom, features guests addressing the challenges of our day. The next conversation is July 26 at 7 p.m., when The Rev. Michael Sullivan, Kanuga’s president and CEO, will welcome The Most Reverend Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of The Episcopal Church.

The Most Rev. Michael Bruce Curry is Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church.  He is the Chief Pastor and serves as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as Chair of the Executive Council of The Episcopal Church.

Presiding Bishop Curry was installed as the 27th Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church on November 1, 2015.  He was elected to a nine-year term and confirmed at the 78th General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City, UT, on June 27, 2015.

The conversation will center around the way of love in troubling times.
