Those who join the Camp Kanuga team undergo an extremely thorough interview process and background check. In fact, Kanuga’s hiring standards surpass the minimum requirements set forth by the American Camp Association.

Camp Kanuga applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

  • minimum age requirement:
    18 years old for Crew members
    19 years old or completion of 1st year of college for Counselors
    21 years old for Support Staff
  • pass a face-to-face interview
  • pass a national background check
  • pass a social media check
  • sign the Kanuga Community Covenant

  • Current School information
