Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at the buffet and should not be in the dining room without a supervising adult. In the interest of minimizing waste, please help us be good stewards by monitoring your family’s portions. At Kanuga, we endeavor to “eat what we take.”

You are welcome to seat yourselves at any available table in the dining rooms. There will be options outdoors at tables and picnic locations as well.

Newsflash: We’re pleased to offer table-side service this summer, including preset silverware, glasses, condiments with water and tea on each table. Our servers will be out and about refreshing beverage supplies and readying the table for the next guests.

Please let us know (via the registration form) of any dietary restrictions when making your reservation. We will always do our best to accommodate them. At every meal, we serve something for vegan and vegetarian guests. However, it  may be wise to bring a few of your favorite items and snacks from home. Each cottage has a microwave, coffee pot, and mini-fridge, and (big news!), each Inn room now has a mini-fridge and coffee pot

A new children’s center for young children is now open, thanks to generous donors! The children’s center is located in the Colhoun Room next to the gym. This renovated space is a hub for children’s activities. It’s an airy space well-equipped with supplies and quality furnishings.

For the health and safety of all within Kanuga’s beloved community, please do not join us if you are COVID positive or exhibiting cold or flu symptoms or have a fever. We recommend that all guests wear face coverings when indoors, especially those at high risk or who are not up to date on vaccinations, or for five days after recovering from illness. Perform good hand hygiene by washing hands and/or using hand sanitizer especially before eating or drinking or after using the restroom. Please visit this page for information specific to COVID in Henderson County.

With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted during summer.

We are excited to welcome you to a newly refurbished and re-stocked shop! Look for Kanuga apparel, coolers, cups, baby gifts, ice cream and custard, soft drinks, wine, beer, pjs, candles, and lots more. Kanuga’s shop is adjacent to the Main Lodge.
