The book this year is Theo of Golden by Allen Levi!

Theo of Golden is a novel by Allen Levi about a mysterious, kind stranger named Theo who arrives in the small Southern city of Golden, Georgia, and begins a mission to buy pencil portraits from a local coffeehouse and give them to the people depicted, asking only for their stories in return. The book explores themes of generosity, connection, and kindness as Theo’s anonymous acts of giving reveal secrets, share regrets, and profoundly alter the lives of the town’s residents.
