HISTORIC COTTAGES,  GUEST HOUSES, KANUGA LAKE INN
Kanuga provides one meal per day during Advent Retreats, which is a continental breakfast included in your stay. Thanks to a relaxing of statewide dining restrictions, we will accommodate a limited number of guests for inside dining. There are also many lovely outside spaces for dining, as well as on your porch or in your cottage.

Kanuga Market offers pick-up snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine. It’s also where you’ll find Kanuga apparel, artwork, caps, water bottles, and more.

Guests may bring lunch and dinner options from home, or enjoy local dining in Hendersonville.

Firewood for your cottage or guest house is available for purchase in bundles at Kanuga Market. Call 828-692-9220 prior to your visit if you would like it ready and waiting in your accommodation.

Many activities are included with your reservation, including 20 miles of hiking trails, personal worship on your own in Chapel of the Transfiguration, tennis, basketball, and fishing (catch and release). Guests may bring their own kayaks & canoes as long as each person brings a personal flotation device and paddles—waiver required. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate paddle boards. Your favorite spaces, like the rocking chair porch and Daisy’s Lake Trail await your visit this fall. The Library and Fireplace Lounge in the main lodge are also open, as well as the indoor gym.

Christmas at Biltmore: Kanuga has a limited supply of tickets for Christmas at Biltmore. Please call Reservations at 828-692-9220 to purchase tickets.  Advance reservations are required.

New! Ride Kanuga mountain bike park, featuring 15 miles of world-class trails for all ages and skill levels, is open. Designed by world-champion Neko Mulally, the new trails have no impact on Kanuga guest hiking and, most importantly, were constructed in compliance with our Forestry Stewardship Plan. Visit RideKanuga.com to book your mountain biking experience.

In addition, Hendersonville and the western North Carolina region have much to offer, including holiday shopping, cider tastings, and tree hunting.

Bed linens and towels are provided; please bring your own pillows. Daily housekeeping is not provided, but additional towels and linens are available.

A $150 housekeeping deposit ($75 for Kanuga Lake Inn) is applied at booking, and if your accommodation is left in good condition, refunded. Examples of why a deposit would not be refunded include furniture being rearranged, arts and crafts (such as clay, playdough, paint) left on floors or porches, excessive trash or dirt, furniture taken from other buildings on campus, etc. This deposit may also be utilized to offset additional labor hours needed if established check-out times are not honored.

Check-in: 4-7 p.m. (check in after 7 p.m. requires pre-arrangement)
Check-out: 12 p.m.

Note: These are the check-in/check-out times required for us to operate safely during the pandemic, but should you arrive early, please let us know. You are welcome to enjoy the property until your lodging is ready.

Late check-out is often available. Additional fee will apply.

Kanuga Market—located in the conference center’s main lodge—features all of your favorite Kanuga apparel, caps, coffee mugs, artwork, and more. It’s also where you’ll find wine, beer, and snacks.

Firewood for your cottage or guest house is also available in bundles at Kanuga Market. Call 828-692-9220 prior to your visit if you would like it ready and waiting in your accommodation.
