GUEST COTTAGES, GUEST HOUSES
Each historic cottage or guest house features a porch, living room with fireplace, and plenty of charm. Accommodations range in size from one to six bedrooms and each is equipped with a mini-refrigerator and microwave. Per-night rates vary depending on the number of bedrooms and cottage amenities. Firewood for your guest cottage or guest house is available from Kanuga Market for purchase in bundles.
KANUGA LAKE INN
Adjacent to the main Lodge and renovated in 2016, the inn offers comfortable, hotel-style rooms with air conditioning and an elevator. Each floor has a communal rocking chair balcony overlooking the lake.
PRIMITIVE CAMPING – COVERED WAGON MEADOW
These dry-camping sites are located in and near the old “Covered Wagon” meadow. One-way, drive-up access is on a very narrow, gravel/dirt, winding road. The site includes non-potable water, a port-o-let, picnic tables, and community fire pits. This area is designated for dry camping only (no sewer, showers, or electricity).
Campsite guests have access to Kanuga’s 20 miles of hiking trails, Kanuga Lake, the playground, tennis courts, gymnasium, and other complimentary areas based on availability. Scheduled activities and dining are not included in the camping fee. World-class downhill mountain biking is available for a fee through Ride Kanuga.
Please be considerate of fellow campers and observe quiet hours from 11 p.m.-7 a.m. Always practice “leave no trace” and plan to pack it in, pack it out.
Be aware that bears and other wildlife are abundant.
***NO travel trailers, RV’s, Motor Homes, or any tow behind trailers are permitted.

During this time, housekeeping is not providing daily service, however these services are available on request. As always, if you have specific requests, we will do our best to honor them.

Our shop offers pick-up snacks, soft drinks, beer, and wine.
Kanuga Market also stocks firewood bundles for your cottage and s’mores supplies. We also stock Kanuga apparel, art work, caps, water bottles, and more. If you forgot sunscreen, bug spray, or other necessities, you’ll find them here.
The store is located in the main lodge and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Many activities are included with your reservation, including hiking on our 20 miles of trails, personal worship, tennis, basketball, and fishing (catch and release).
Your favorite spaces, like the rocking chair porch and Daisy’s Lake Trail await your visit. The Library and Fireplace Lounge in the main lodge are also open, as well as the indoor gym. Depending on when you visit, other activities may be available for an additional fee.
