Summer at Kanuga is a multi-generations-long program that invites newcomers to experience Kanuga as well. This is truly a time to connect with each other, nature, and the Creator. A full program of scheduled activities with traditional “unplugged” events include bingo night, worship opportunities, pickle ball, 5K and fun runs, trivia, archery, wood carving, painting, fireside s’mores, and more. Swim and kayak on the lake, and make time for a few great hikes (and naps!).

Kanuga Lake Inn – Please place soiled towels and linens outside of your room before 11:30 a.m. for daily fresh replacements.

Historic Cottages and Guest Houses – Please place soiled towels and bed linens outside on the steps closest to the service road by 11:30 a.m. so that our housekeepers are able to see that you need a pick-up.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at the buffet and should not be in the dining room without a supervising adult. In the interest of minimizing waste, please help us be good stewards by monitoring your family’s portions. At Kanuga, we endeavor to “eat what we take.”

Childcare plans for Summer Guest Period families will be announced as we approach the summer season.

For the health and safety of all within Kanuga’s beloved community, please do not join us if you are COVID positive or exhibiting cold or flu symptoms or have a fever. We recommend that all guests wear face coverings when indoors, especially those at high risk or who are not up to date on vaccinations, or for five days after recovering from illness. Perform good hand hygiene by washing hands and/or using hand sanitizer especially before eating or drinking or after using the restroom. Please visit this page for information specific to COVID in Henderson County.

With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted during summer.

We are excited to welcome you to a newly refurbished and re-stocked shop! Look for Kanuga apparel, coolers, cups, baby gifts, ice cream and custard, soft drinks, wine, beer, pjs, candles, and lots more. Kanuga’s shop is adjacent to the Main Lodge.
