About the Virtual Retreat
With so much unrest in the world, it’s natural to feel unsettled by the growing divide in our families and communities. Join us to discover a path back to the love and peace residing in each of us.
The virtual retreat will be led by Dr. Joseph Howell and the Institute for Conscious Being (ICB) faculty. The two sessions (Friday evening and Saturday) offer a time of self-discovery combining the Enneagram, a system representing the personality spectrum, with deep spiritual exploration and awareness.
During this weekend of teaching, creativity, application, and experiences, you’ll learn to use the Enneagram to learn not only about your personality type but also your soul type. The ripple effects of this powerful weekend can be transformational.
Dr. Howell is a graduate of Samford University, Yale Divinity School, and The University of Virginia, and is a Fellow in Clinical Psychology, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School. He is an International Enneagram Association (IEA) Accredited Professional Teacher. He is the author of “Becoming Conscious: The Enneagram’s Forgotten Passageway” and “Know Your Soul: Journeying with the Enneagram.”
What is the Enneagram?
Faith has all the principles of healing and wholeness but in our distractions, we frequently miss them. Fortunately, a newly discovered system of spiritual enlightenment has been shown to give us greater access to the power of our soul. This exciting power not only revitalizes our faith but deepens spiritual awareness. And with this awareness, people are actually transcending the burden of that which would have previously created great suffering. This is a newly discovered yet ancient system called the Enneagram.
Having its roots in the third and fourth century Christian Desert Mothers and Fathers as well as in forgotten bedouin tribes of the Middle East, the Enneagram is now empowering our faith in life-altering ways.
