Christian education directors, Sunday School teachers, clergy and lay people gathered at Kanuga's annual Christian Formation Conference June 11-16, 2006, to gain tools for involving the entire parish in Christian formation.
Keynoter Tracey Herzer, executive director of LeaderResources, along with a host of workshop leaders from across the east coast, offered practical tips for training teachers, calling others into ministry, nursery, youth programs, intergenerational events, adult formational opportunities, faith in the home ministries, curriculum and more.
Kanuga's Children's Program, offered during all summer conferences, kept boys and girls busy with swimming, crafts, hiking, sing-alongs and games while Mom and Dad attended workshops, small group dicussions and other events. For many, the week provided education, recreation and relaxation for the whole family.
