November 25-30, 2008

Celebrate this most American holiday in a most special way.
From many states come many-member families, couples and singles to celebrate, remember and give thanks for God’s blessings. The highlight of the week is the Thanksgiving Day Eucharist, followed by a feast of turkey, dressing and all the trimmings. The day is completed with a traditional square dance.
Let Kanuga be your host, so that everyone can enjoy time together with no worry about cooking, cleaning up or planning activities for a crowd.
Daily activities are offered for all ages. Art and crafts, a volleyball tournament, yoga, worship and evening entertainment will entice most. For some, a hike, a seat by a crackling fire and a chance to catch up with family and friends is the ultimate holiday.
Childcare is offered two mornings for infants through age eight. A youth program for ages 9-18 will include climbing at the tower. The week ends with a Sunday Eucharist and travelers’ brunch.
Chaplain
The chaplain-in-residence will be announced.
