Volunteer Opportunities

Kanuga will host a sewing bee August 15-17 for volunteers to make curtains for the Historic Cottages. Space is limited to 10 volunteers. Click here for more information.

Guests have the opportunity to leave Kanuga a little better than they find it.

Whether you have only a few hours or plan to take part in a volunteer weekend, seasonal service projects are available for all ages, interests and abilities.

"There is already a strong trend of volunteerism among Kanuga guests," said Jennifer O’Keefe, Kanuga’s volunteer coordinator. "Their souls are being fed and in turn they want to give back to this community. Setting aside time to volunteer allows an individual or group to experience and teach the value of stewardship."

Past service projects have included creating decorations for the Chapel of the Transfiguration, building an outdoor amphitheatre at the Bob Campbell Youth Campus, beautifying flower beds and assisting with the daily programming of summer events.

Volunteers from All Saints Episcopal Church in Atlanta build Adirondack chairs for Kanuga's Bob Campbell Youth Campus.
