"Open, O Lord, the eyes of all people to behold thy gracious hand in all thy works, that rejoicing in thy whole creation, they may honor thee with their substance and be faithful stewards of thy bounty."
— Prayers of the People, Rite One

At JYP 2009, we will explore God's gifts to us in creation and how we are called as Christians to maintain and care for those gifts.

Building a bridge between the United States’ current environmental movement and God's call to us as Christians, we will examine the ways Christians who came before us heard this call and discover tangible ways we as contemporary Christians can be stewards of God's gifts.
