Senior Young People

The Fellowship of the Rings
June 22-27, 2008

Summary

For students rising in grades 10-12 and recent high school graduates, a chance to be in community with other young Episcopalians from many different states. Come on your own, with a friend or in a group. Register now or read on for more details.

With the Summer Olympics coming up, SYP will examine the nature of competition on a worldwide and a personal scale.

Who are you competitive with and why? Is it beneficial or harmful? Does a deeper unity lurk beneath rivalries?

In 1 Corinthians, Paul wrestled with these issues and urged the Corinthians to recognize, despite rivalries, they are all "God's fellow workers." At SYP, we will embrace the Olympics to explore our own status as God's fellow workers.
