IMAGINE
Claiming and Empowering
Ordained Women's Leadership
October 2 - 6, 2006

This conference has filled, but you may register for the waiting list. Your deposit will be returned if space does not come available.
Co-sponsored with the Office of Women’s Ministries, this new Kanuga conference is an opportunity for ordained women to share their hopes for the Church and for their transforming leadership within it.
IMAGINE is for ordained women who want to claim their own leadership and, through peer coaching, empower their sisters to do the same. This conference invites women clergy to take bold steps in their own lives and for the Church.
The conference will feature
- Life stories by women who braved the odds and became leaders in positions where few women have served before
- Peer coaching
- Presentations on the state of the Church
- Group and individual visioning
- Networking
- Worship and music
- Rest and recreation in the peaceful mountains
Women who are bishops, deans or rectors of corporate parishes and women who have had a different path of leadership will offer inspiration and support to the next wave of ordained women leaders.
ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE PEER COACHES
Women may attend as a peer coach, a participant or both. Peer coaches MUST arrive Oct. 1. This day will be used to prepare the coaches for their role in the conference.
If you wish to serve as a peer coach, please be sure to indicate this on your registration form. You may be asked to submit additional information. Peer coaches will be selected by the Office of Women's Ministries and will be charged an additional $75 room and board fee.
