Jason Merritt Communications Manager Jason Merritt joined the Kanuga staff in 2011 and now oversees all marketing and communications materials. His work includes advertising, print and electronic newsletters, website (kanuga.org), social media, public relations and the organization’s overall brand image. With a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida's School of Journalism, Jason specializes in communications strategy, graphic design, photography and videography. Before moving to Western North Carolina in 2009 he held variety of communications and grassroots advocacy positions with AARP Florida where he developed a deep appreciation for the personal and spiritual satisfaction found in non-profit work.
