A hello from Robert and Julia
Two former staff members, Julia Messer and Robert Black, are attending Virginia Theological Seminary in Virginia and will one day become Episcopal priests. I asked them to let you all know how Seminary has been so far. - Brad
Hey Camp Kanuga!
Greetings from Seminary Hill at the Virginia Theological Seminary. Robert Black is a middler (second year student) and Julia Messer is a junior (first year student). Besides being friends, we also are doing some other stuff at the same time--we both are taking a class on Church History and we are both playing flag football!
Robert is working hard with his field education parish--St. John's Lafayette Square (known as the Church of the Presidents, since it is right across the street from the White House in Washington, DC). Julia is just starting to look at parishes for her field education and will start later in the year at her own parish.
We do talk about Camp Kanuga and miss being there. Here's hoping everyone is doing well in school and in life!
