Tip of the week...

Here is another way to make sure your parents know you want to get registered BEFORE Christmas so you get the limited edition Camp Kanuga gift:

Tape a copy of the registration form on the steering wheel of your parent's car!

For those of you who are registered, help me get the word out about registering early. Tell you camp friends through email, myspace, phone, AIM, Yahoo Messenger that they HAVE to get registered before Christmas.

I just thought I'd let you know that we've posted the Camp Map on the web site. Our webmaster will be posting new pictures and text on the web site over the next two weeks. So make sure to check in and send your friends to www.campkanuga.org so they can see how you spend your summers.

Lightning Hits Camp

So I am sitting there in my cabin the other night and BOOM...all went quiet. A 60' pine tree in Gooch's Grove was shattered by a bolt of lightning.
Don't worry, all is well, nothing and nobody got hurt...but look at that thing...it's HUGE!

A little harder one...

So it is apparent that the last question was a little easy. It seems as though everyone knows that tree as the Elephant Tree.

Here is a little more of a challenging question for those of you who think you know EVERYTHING about camp. See if you can guess...
