LT Coordinators
I am so pleased to announce our LT Coordinators for Sessions III and IV.
Wes Boone has been on Camp Kanuga's staff since 2002. He has been a counselor and the waterfront director. Wes will be working with five outstanding young men during Session III in order to help them hone their leadership skills. Wes is studying at UNC-Chapel Hill and works at REI.
Olivia Goodman has been at Camp Kanuga for over a decade. She has been a camper, a counselor and adventure staff. In addition, Olivia helped to pilot Camp Bob's Stepping Up! program last summer. She just graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill. Olivia is excited at the opportunity to work with the LT's during Session IV.
We are thrilled to have these two outstanding friends join us for another summer. For those of you who have been at camp for a while, you already know that our LTs are blessed to have such great people leading this program.

Rob Milton - Counselor
Meet another counselor you haven't met yet, Rob Milton. Rob is one of our sports counselors and during Session II is floating between cabins. He had cabin 10 during Session I.Rob is a history major at Brevard College in Brevard, N.C. He is from West Virginia. Rob is a walk-on basketball player and we see him out there everyday getting better and better. He admits he hates just sitting around so we are very fortunate to have such an active sports counselor. He hopes to one day be a coach and from the looks of it, he would do a great job.
Please welcome Rob to the Camp Kanuga family!

Meet Another Brad
Just as I promised I am posting the other staff members you haven't met yet. This is Brad Shannon from Maryland. He was a long time camper (he was even in my cabin once). In 2003, Brad won the Outstanding Male Camper award.During Session I, he was the Foxhole counselor and really made an impact on his campers. He is teaching climbing this year and he is very excited to be able to run the Caney Ropes Course.
Brad has spent the last year working at a computer company in Bethesda, Maryland and will head to UNC Chapel-Hill in the fall.
Check out that hair!

A Counselor You Haven't Met Yet
I realized that I haven't introduced you all to the rest of the staff members. This is Robert Black. Robert is a recent graduate from Wake Forest. He is serving this summer as our archery instructor and for Session I, he is the cabin 7 counselor.Robert is heading to Virginia Theological Seminary in the fall. Robert is the first traditionally aged college student to go straight to seminary from the Diocese of North Carolina in 30 years. Congratulations to Robert!
Robert is doing a great job so far and I am thrilled to have him on staff.
I will introduce you all to the rest of the counselors over the next few days!
