Michaela Curtis Returns for Ninth Summer

Hey Kanuga! I am very excited to announce that I will be returning to camp as your new Adventure Facilitator. I will be leading the climbing program area, the new ropes course and Ridge Runners. This will be my ninth year at camp and I just can't wait for the summer to start.

I am currently enjoying my time at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. It has been great being able to enjoy all the natural rock climbing around this area. See you this summer.

I am looking forward to it!

A visit to Sewanee

I had the pleasure of going out to the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn., yesterday. What a beautiful campus!

Did you know that in 2005 we had 20 campers and five staff members from Sewanee? I even heard that four JCs from last year are considering going to college there.

I guess the news for this blog is that Kanuga is stronger than ever in the small town of Sewanee, and I should have bought a t-shirt.

Welcome to the Official Camp Kanuga Blog

And we're live!!! I am so excited to introduce you to the official Camp Kanuga blog.

I remember growing up at Camp Kanuga and always wanting to know which counselors were coming back and what was going to be new when I got back to camp. I never had a way to find out ... we fixed that!

We created this blog so you would always have a way to know what is going on at camp. I will make sure to keep you posted on all the insider information. Please check back often.

I certainly hope you have all had a wonderful year so far. I've noticed how many of you are already signed up for camp next summer. It is going to be an amazing 75th year.

If you have not signed up yet, please do it soon because some sessions are already starting to fill up. I want to make sure that you all have the opportunity to be a part of one of the best summers ever.

SEE YOU THERE!
