A Quick Note
I haven't posted a new blog in a few days so I thought I'd give everyone a quick State of the Camp address.
It is really getting exciting and busy around here. They are still working on the construction projects at Toad Hall, the Chalet, OLS, Bob's Cabin, and the new cabin on the boy's side. Most of them just got a coat of paint so we'll be done soon.
Mina, our Program Director, and Emily, our Head Female Counselor, just got here and they are jumping straight in to camp preparation. We are buying new supplies for the waterfront, getting shirts for tye-dye, putting the camp schedule together and even starting to figure out which cabins you (guys and girls) are going to be in.
Camp is getting warmer and brighter every day. Mina noticed some nice flowers blooming by the camp office and by Lake McCready. All of the trees are full of leaves now and the sun is peaking through more and more often. Kanuga's housekeeping staff are cleaning up the cabins in preparation for the Session I campers.
I could not be more excited about the coming weeks. Campers come June 3 and we have a lot to do before then. Our counselors show up May 25 and they are going to be working hard to be the GREATEST COUNSELORS YOU EVER HAD.
75 years with the best summer coming soon...I promise!!!

i hope they are awesome this year but it will be hard to top ryan with the long hair from last year... he was probly the best counselor that foxhole has ever had. these seem to be really cool too so i cant wait to meet them. i can't wait.
