Jacob Higgie Joins the CK Family

Let me introduce all of you to Jacob, who joins us from New Zealand. He will be working this summer as a camp counselor and I couldn’t be more excited to have him onboard.

He is a seasoned worship leader and is excited at the thought of being at Camp Kanuga this summer. In high school, Jacob was a member of his school’s elite choir, OK Chorale. They even won the gold award in a national competition in 2005. He has been playing guitar for four years now, working his way up to worship leader at All Saints Anglican Church in New Zealand. He also is an avid hockey player and has captained two teams.

Working at Camp Kanuga will be a great opportunity for him to continue working with children and he will be a great asset to this year’s staff.

“I feel that this is a chance for me to share my knowledge and skills with the kids, whilst making friends and being a role model.”
