Hannah Sharpe Joins the Staff

Hi!
My name is Hannah Sharpe and I'm from Summerfield, N.C. I am a student at UNC-Chapel Hill and plan on majoring in Journalism and Political Science. I have a lot of interests, but if I had to narrow things down, I would say that I am most interested in music, art (photography) and Duke basketball. (Yes, I know, I'm a "Tar Heel," but I've been a Duke fan my entire life!)

All my friends would say that I am obsessed with music and it's true – it is a big part of my life. I appreciate a lot of different genres, but my favorite kind of music is rock – emo, punk, etc., that's all me! Art is also important to me. I've been doing art all my life and in more recent years, I have become really interested in photography. My dream job is to be a photojournalist for National Geographic.

I'm very excited to be joining the Camp Kanuga staff this summer. Being a camp counselor is going to be an experience that I will never forget. I can't wait to meet everyone, especially the kids. I'm sure that I'm going to learn just as much from them as I hope they will from me!

I just know that we are going to have a great time this summer!
