Announcing Shannon Fyfe

I am so pleased to announce Shannon Fyfe will be a Camp Kanuga counselor this summer. She is a junior at UNC-Chapel Hill where she is double majoring in Political Science and Music. She has focused her musical talents into vocal performance and we hope she will help our music leaders this summer.

She is a former Camp Kanuga camper and is thrilled to now be able to teach the same activities she remembers as a camper. She has worked at Arts Together, an arts camp in Raleigh, N.C. She also volunteers at the Durham Youth Home and Orange County Crisis Center. She is considering a future in ministry and hopes to attend divinity school after college.

"During my spiritual journey as a Christian, I have come to believe that relationships are the most important way to share Christ's love," Shannon said.

She is so excited to be able to spend the summer at Camp Kanuga and looks forward to an unforgettable experience getting to know all of you!
