- Nurse
- Registered Nurses to conduct sick calls, dispense medications and oversee the general health of Camp Kanuga, Camp Bob and the Conference Center.
- E.M.T.
(Emergency Medical Technician) - Current certification required. Job includes providing medical care at Camp Kanuga, Camp Bob and the Conference Center and assisting the nurse.
- Assistant to the Program Department
(College student or recent graduate) - Responsibilities include organizing/leading guest activities. This individual should be outgoing, detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills and show initiative and creativity while working. Interns welcome.
- Assistant to the Promotion Department
(College student or recent graduate) - Digital photography skills required for this position. Responsibilities also include maintaining and organizing extensive digital photo files and assisting in promoting Kanuga through email, phone, mail and web site correspondence. This individual should have demonstrated skill with digital SLR cameras, be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills and show initiative and creativity while working. Proficiency in Photoshop a plus. Journalism, Photography or Public Relations majors encouraged to apply. Interns welcome. Please include 8-10 samples of your best work with application.
- Art and Crafts Director
(College Student) - Organize and lead arts and crafts program for the Children’s, Youth and Kanuga Outdoors programs (ages 3-18). Includes leading activities such as tie-dying, painting, candle making, etc. Also, the director is expected to help in the general program for the children. Experience in arts and crafts a must. Elementary Education or Art majors are encouraged to apply.
- Creative Dramatics Director
(College Student) - July and August only. Responsible for producing and directing Friday night Kanuga Follies during Guest Period. Will work with all age groups and assist with props, costumes, music, etc. Theater and Drama majors encouraged to apply. Interns welcome.
- Sacristan/Chaplain’s Assistant
(College Student or Seminarian) - Responsibilities include assisting the Chapel Director in keeping the chapel/sacristy organized and stocked with necessary supplies, as well as assisting the Chaplain with worship services. Knowledge of Episcopal services a must. Ability to play piano/organ a plus. Depending on the applicant's skills, you might be assigned duties in another department.
- Transportation/Mail Services
(minimum age 21) - Responsible for Kanuga transportation to and from Hendersonville and the airport or bus station. It is essential that anyone applying for this job be a careful driver, have a good driving record and recognize responsibility for those being transported. This position also involves the handling of mail and other duties. Position requires a valid driver's license.
