Guest Services
- Guest Services Associate
(College Graduate or Intern) - The associate will assist with preparing for and hosting groups/events. Responsibilities will include leading, training, and managing Guest Services Support Staff; preparing facility needs for the Guest Services department; and being on duty Guest Services contact person many times throughout the summer. Hospitality/Hotel Management, Parks and Recreation or Tourism majors are encouraged to apply.
- Guest Services Support Staff
(College Students) - One of Kanuga’s primary representatives of hospitality, they are responsible for event setup, refreshments, socials functions, worship services and other guest supportive tasks. Also, staff will clerk and assist in the operation of the canteen. Position requires a valid driver’s license. Hospitality/Hotel Management, Parks and Recreation or Tourism majors are encouraged to apply.
- Canteen Manager
(College Student) - The manager will be responsible for the operation of Charlie's Canteen under the supervision of a permanent staff member. The manager will supervise a staff of two, keep the canteen well stocked and will be accountable for its inventory. Applicants who are majoring in business administration or accounting are encouraged to apply. Position requires a valid driver’s license.
- Canteen Associate
(Minimum age 17) - The associate will clerk and assist in the operation of the canteen. Depending on the applicant’s skills, you might work part-time in another department.
- Bookstore Salesclerk
(College Student) - The salesclerk will clerk and assist in the operation of the bookstore. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and a hospitable personality, be well read and have knowledge of the Episcopal Church. Depending on the applicant’s skills, you might work part-time in another department.
- Sacristan/Chaplain’s Assistant
(College Student or Seminarian) - Responsibilities include assisting the Chapel Director in keeping the chapel/sacristy organized and stocked with necessary supplies, as well as assisting the Chaplain with worship services. Knowledge of Episcopal services a must. Ability to play piano/organ a plus. Depending on the applicant's skills, you might be assigned duties in another department.
