Directions
to Kanuga
From I-85 N/Atlanta
- Take I-85 North to Greenville, S.C.
- Take the US 25 (White Horse Road) exit and turn left.
- Follow the highway into North Carolina.
- Bus drivers see optional route below*.
- Take Exit 5 for Flat Rock/NC 225.
- Turn left on 2-lane NC 225 North and follow to the second traffic light.
- Turn left on Little River Road and continue until the road ends.
- Turn right on Kanuga Road.
- Take an immediate left on Kanuga Lake Road...
To Kanuga Conference Center Main Lobby
- Follow Kanuga Lake Road for approximately 1.25 miles.
- Turn right on Kanuga Chapel Drive.
- Continue past the tennis courts to the first paved parking lot on the left (approximately 1/2 mile).
- The Main Lobby is to the left of the Bookstore.
To Camp Kanuga
- From Kanuga Road, follow Kanuga Lake Road for approximately one mile to Camp Kanuga Circle and turn right.
- Continue to the end of the gravel road and turn left. The office is on the left.
To Camp Bob/Mountain Trail Outdoor School
- From Kanuga Road, follow Kanuga Lake Road for approximately 1.25 miles.
- Turn right on Kanuga Chapel Drive.
- Continue on the main road through the conference center for approximately 3/4 mile.
- Main road will turn into gravel at the Bob Campbell Youth Campus. Continue on gravel road, to the left of the entrance sign, to parking area near the bell.
*Buses from the south or southwest
- Buses may want to avoid NC 225 and Little River Road. To do so, stay on four-lane US 25, take Exit 7 and turn left on 176/North 25 Business to Hendersonville.
- Stay on this road (also known as Spartanburg Highway) for 5.0 miles until the road ends.
- Turn left on NC 225 South (Greenville Highway) and take an immediate right on White Street.
- Take a left onto Kanuga Street; continue 3.5 miles and watch for brown Kanuga Conferences sign. Turn right onto Kanuga Lake Road, then continue with directions above for your Kanuga destination: Conference Center Main Lobby, Camp Kanuga or Camp Bob/Mountain Trail Outdoor School.
